Outrider - Autobot Reconnaissance Specialist

Image
Outrider is an Autobot reconnaissance specialist. His job was to scout enemy positions and find defensible locations for his brethren. After his arrival on Earth , he became disillusioned and deserted, retreating into the wilderness and avoiding contact with others of his kind.  Quote: "Get off my lawn..." Kysek's Armored Attire

The events of this post took place when my current campaign was set in Lankhmar .  While the remainder of the group traveled north in search information that will lead them to the lair of the Devourer, their mage, Romulus remained in the city to enchant items and tend to official business regarding the party's new home.  The archmage spends most of his time in a tailor's shop sewing alongside the owner's apprentices. He whispers enchantments over the individual threads as he weaves them together. He becomes good friends with the tailor, a man named Chandler during this time. These are the details of that story... - - - - - Romulus rises from his comfy bed at the Penetrating Pony and heads downstairs for a breakfast of fried potatoes, bacon and bitter black coffee. He splits a beer with Bethilda and Monty before heading out to start on his daily errands. First, he follows the directions given him by Arthur and heads over to Craft Street to pay a visit to Arthur’s lawyer M

First Transformation

While in the City of Lankhmar, one of the party members wanted to see about getting a tattoo of a giant spider on his back.  He traveled throughout the city and after much searching, found himself outside the temple of the Spider God.  The player was fairly new to the game and when the priest gave the character a potion and told to drink it, which he did. This potion changed the character into a werespider although he did not know this at the time.  What follows is his first transformation and the events that followed throughout the rest of the night... - - - - - - A steady drizzle has been falling for hours. This far north and this close to the sea, the rain is bitterly cold, soaking through clothes and driving the chill deep into the skin with numbing determination. The group has dropped anchor off of a small island and gone ashore to for the night to set up camp. Drax managed to find and kill a lamb that had somehow gotten stranded on the island at some point in the past and Raven,

Klimpaloon, the Magical Old-Timey Bathing Suit Who Lives in the Himalayas

Ever since writing the post about the Tri-State Area being its own dimension the other day, this unusual character has been on my mind. I thought about using the Incarnate Construct template for him but losing All of his abilities didn't appeal to me. Instead, I simply went with a permanent Animated Object spell followed by Awaken Construct. The Tri-State Area!!!!!

I recently found myself faced with a dilemma of my own making. I had decided long ago that Earth-218 would not be home to any characters with the ability to reshape reality (Franklin Richards, Scarlet Witch, Mr. Mxyzptlk, Q, Cosmo and Wanda, or, dare I say it, Phineas and Ferb). There's just one small semi-aquatic egg-laying mammal of action-based problem.  Perry the Platypus is a already a character who exists there.  Therefore, it stands to reason that Phineas and Ferb Fletcher and Dr. Doofenschmirtz and their physics-defying, reality-bending inventions also exist. We're talking about devices that transform tree houses into Battle Mechs, a giant ant farm that leads to giant, super-evolved ants to bizarre "Inators" that turn objects into bread and another that eliminates all musical instruments starting with the letter "B" (banjos, bagpipes, etc) within its area of effect from existence. So, how do I reconcile the obvious disparity between these charact
