House Rule - Ranged Devastating and Overwhelming Critical

While I was out driving for work today, I started thinking that Devastating Critical and Overwhelming Critical should have a ranged variation available because a legendary archer or sniper should also be able to land a "perfectly placed shot" that would be instantly fatal.

So, I am making the following change to the feats for my campaign.

Devastating Critical [Epic]
(Epic Level Handbook, p. 53)

Choose one type of melee or ranged weapon, such as longsword or heavy crossbow. With that weapon, you are capable of killing any creature with a single strike.
Prerequisite
Cleave, Great Cleave, Improved Critical (weapon to be chosen), Overwhelming Critical (weapon to be chosen), Power Attack, Weapon Focus (weapon to be chosen), STR 25

Or

Far Shot, Improved Critical (weapon to the chosen), Overwhelming Critical (weapon to be chosen), Point Blank Shot, Precise Shot,
Weapon Focus (weapon to be chosen), DEX 25

Benefit
When using the weapon you have selected, whenever you score a critical hit the target must make a Fortitude save (DC 10 + 1/2 your character level + your Strength or Dexterity modifier) or die instantly. (Creatures immune to critical hits can't be affected by this feat.)
Special
You can gain this feat multiple times. Its effects do not stack. Each time you take the feat, it applies to a different type of weapon.

Overwhelming Critical [Epic]
( Epic Level Handbook, p. 63)

Choose one type of melee or ranged weapon, such as longsword or heavy crossbow. With that weapon, you do more damage on a critical hit.
Prerequisite
Cleave, Great Cleave, Improved Critical (weapon to be chosen), Power Attack, Weapon Focus (weapon to be chosen), STR 23

Or

Far Shot, Improved Critical (weapon to the chosen), Point Blank Shot, Precise Shot, Weapon Focus (weapon to be chosen), DEX 23

Required for
Devastating Critical
Benefit
When using the weapon you have selected, you deal +1d6 points of bonus damage on a successful critical hit. If the weapon's critical multiplier is ×3, add +2d6 points of bonus damage instead, and if the multiplier is ×4, add +3d6 points of bonus damage instead.
Special
Creatures immune to critical hits can't be affected by this feat. You can gain this feat multiple times. Its effects do not stack. Each time you take the feat, it applies to a different type of weapon.
