Silvanost  - Holiday Cheer (One Night in Silvanost)

21 thru 30 Frostkolt 348 AC

As the reality that those deemed “less than” or “other” are not even permitted to dwell within the city dawns upon the black-robed elf, a quiet fury builds within him. Ra’ziir, upon this realization, turns on a heel back in the direction from whence he came. “It seems that w
e have found a true Utopia, first priest of Malazzar. How the god of progress must delight…” The Eldritch Knight’s ire seeks a home in the nearest target, not because it is warranted necessarily, more because it is accessible. “Like crumbs swept beneath a rug, they deny the existence of those they deem unworthy… and think themselves “noble.

Ra’ziir stalks off into the night, a black-robed figure disappearing into the darkness.

Elves out celebrating the holiday instinctively part, allowing him to pass unimpeded. Confused looks from the partyers follow in his wake. Mothers even pull small children out of his path, so palpable is his ire.

Kysek utilizes what he has learned from Raven to continue the training process and instruct the local sailors as best he can by day; though he focuses more on agility based lessons which he is more familiar with. By day, he awaits the return of his friends. His evenings continue much the same; allowing Bubo to hunt his meals and accompanying him to scout the cities perimeter.

Eilra visits the warehouse the morning after Raven's disappearance. Her dark blue uniform jacket stands out in the early morning gloom. Her blond hair is worn in a tight braid and a cutlass rides on one hip. When she sees Kysek teaching the class instead of the swordsman, she frowns and approaches him, "Where is Raven? We were supposed to meet last night to discuss possible armaments for Silvanesti's ships."

“This will sound somewhat crazy, but you do know the manner of our arrival here which is crazy in and of itself. This isn’t the first time he’s disappeared. Walk with me.” The elf states plainly as he guides her to the circle of mushrooms. He explains, “Raven has been taken by the Fae to perform another task for them. This ring is what we found as the only evidence of these occurrences. More worrisome this time is that our dwarf friend seems to be missing as well. Whether the two are connected or not, we don’t know. Rest assured, he will return. I will continue to train your sailors in the things I know best in the meantime.”

Eilra shakes her head, "I don't know if I should be more frightened by the Fair Folk abducting Raven or your casual acceptance of it. What strange lives you must have that this does not seem to worry you."

“You have no idea, milady! This is probably one of the more normal things that we’ve dealt with in recent times. If you’d like, we could meet up after this training session and perhaps I could clue you in to the adventures our party has had of late. Just know that while all I may tell is unbelievable at best, every word is true.” The elf shakes his head and awaits her response.

"I have been trying to get Raven to tell me more about his past. He has only admitted to having served in a militia group, knowing how to sail, and having 'some skill' with a blade," Eilra replies, "I do not know if it is him or his silence that is more intriguing."

Shadow and Cassidy bid the rest of the group a fine evening and head out on the town. The dark turns to his pint-sized companion, “Well, let’s just see what the elves are up to this evening and see if we can locate Grotto.” The pair heads off into the city - they start off on the main boulevard running through the heart of the city: The Wandering Wood, The Golden Goblet, The Silverleaf, Hearthstone, Dryad's Rest all pass by in a blur of song, wine, holiday cheer, and joyful companionship. After that, things get... hazy. Many drinks are shared with many new best friends who are forgotten by the time the drow and the kender reach the next tavern. If either adventurer remembered to ask about Grotto, neither of them can remember by morning.

Arthur takes the book and opens it to its first page "I love it, Lady Agnes, thank you" Arthur holds out his hand "My lady, let us find somewhere to eat and perhaps you can tell me more about your life. I truly enjoy hearing your stories." Arthur looks around." Arthur gives her a truly genuine smile "I'm truly happy to have met you."

"And I, you, my noble warrior," Agnes pauses, "Tell me, after leaving this world, what are your plans. The tree Cedron planted did not link to any of these others you have planted. Will it be possible for you to return here?"
