Despite assumptions to the contrary, the party is Not going to engage in battle with Big Bird. However, having already made Cookie Monster as a character, I thought I would make a D&D version of Big Bird that is in keeping with him as presented on Sesame Street. 20 Gildember 348 AC Grotto follows the lead of the trackers. He keeps his foraging eyes wide to see if he can find any useful ingredients for the next meal they have when they set up camp. Arthur follows towards the rear of the group in case they some how come from behind. Kysek allows Bubo to rest perched upon his shoulder. He maintains a careful eye on the trail ahead as he silently follows the markers left by the scouts ahead. Shadow will hang to the middle of the group with Cassidy and watch for danger along the way trusting in more experienced trackers to lead the chase. 20 Gildember 348 AC The Tower of Wayreth. The days pass quickly. Romulus rises before dawn each morning, lets Macula out for a run in the courtyard and nearby forest, heads to the dining hall for a breakfast of eggs (he quickly learns that the cooks are able to prepare the most delicious omelets he has ever eaten - his favorite being made with venison bacon, a sharp cheddar cheese, onions, and peppers), sausages, some pears in maple syrup, a stack of pancakes, a small bowl of oatmeal, and diced potatoes along with a pitcher of cider. Afterwards, he collects Macula and the pair head up to the Tower's library. Menathradon joins him soon after and the pair pour over heavy tomes about the Demiplane of Time and scribble notes for later review. The pages they have been assigned fetch them lunch; soups and sandwiches with more fruit and nuts and some watered-down beer before returning to their studies. Evening of 19 Gildember - morning of 20 Gildember 348 AC "Dinner is served, my friends!" yells Grotto proudly. "Hopefully we find some goblins to kill tomorrow!" Grotto remarks with a twinkle in his eye. Grotto feels happy and excited to be hunting goblin vermin. Kysek thanks Grotto for the meal. He sends Bubo out to hunt and watch the camp's perimeter. Arthur thanks Grotto for the food keeping an eye out as we eat. Ra’ziir, meanwhile, has some of the food Grotto prepared and then settles in with his grimoire. “Thank you Grotto for preparing our meal. It’s delicious. Maybe one day when you retire from chopping heads, you could pursue a life of cooking?” He jests with the Dwarf. “It’s cold tonight. I’m going to put some more wood on the fire.” Shadow and Cassidy enjoy the dishes prepared by Grotto from the giant crabs.  They both thank the scarred dwarf for his amazing handiwork. Cedron continues flying and performs a perimeter sweep looking for other potential threats in the area. “I seem to recall the smaller versions of these crustaceans were sweet and delicious. I’m hoping these larger ones are the same.” He muses privately while scanning the area. Ra’ziir utilizes the remaining time on his spell of flight to assist Cedron in reconnaissance. Arthur joins in on the recon mission and between the three of them soon find a scattering of torn cloth and shattered bone fragments.
