Hp: 88 (16HD)
Immune: See below
Fort +5, Ref +4, Will +5
• Magic Immunity (Ex): A Smoke Powder Golem is immune to all spells, spell-like abilities, and supernatural effects except as follows: Rusting Grasp affects the Golem normally, all spells cast by a Priest of Gond automatically function normally and any fire effect large enough to engulf the entire golem requires a Fortitude save. A Failed save indicates the bombard shells suffer an explosive backfire (see below)
• Explosive Backfire (Ex): If a smoke powder golem rolls a natural “1” while attacking with its bombard, a shell detonates prematurely and causes damage to the golem (DR does not apply). Additionally, an explosive backfire forces a Fortitude save (DC15) or the remaining shells detonate internally. In any event, the bombard is fouled and may not be used again until it is cleared.

A Smoke Powder Golem is a blending of technology and the divine magic of Gond created to serve as temple guardians. On average, the golem stands 12’ tall and weighs 8,000 pounds. The smoke powder golem resembles the more common Iron Golem except its right arm has been replaced with the thick barrel of a bombard. A large “backpack” has been built onto the golem and contains the ammunition for the golem’s cannon (internal magazine of six shells). Firing the cannon causes the next shell to automatically, move into the firing chamber. The golem smells of oil and sulfur.

targets in the area (Ref save half, DC equal to attack roll, target does not
receive a saving throw).• Magic Immunity (Ex): A Smoke Powder Golem is immune to all spells, spell-like abilities, and supernatural effects except as follows: Rusting Grasp affects the Golem normally, all spells cast by a Priest of Gond automatically function normally and any fire effect large enough to engulf the entire golem requires a Fortitude save. Construction: A Smoke Powder Golem is sculpted from nearly
9,000 pounds of steel. The golem costs
120,000 gp to create, which includes 3,000 gp for the body. Assembling the golem requires one successful
Craft (Armorsmithing or Weaponsmithing) check (DC25) and one successful Craft
(Gunsmithing) check (DC25). The creator
must be at least 17th level and able to cast divine spells. Completing the ritual drains 1,800 Xp from
the creator and requires Animate Objects, Fantastic Machine, and Miracle.
Huh.... dumb question...for which edition of D&D is this guy for? Think it's one of the more recent ones but I can't seem to put my finger on it.
