It's Got Raisins In It! You Like Raisins.

"Better Off Dead" is one of My All-Time Favorite Movies.

Seriously.

I have even written about it before.

But first, a short clip...

You never see that thing again in the movie. Where did it go? What happened to it? No "official" answer has ever been given regarding the fate of Jenny Meyer's Raisin Mold. Given the seeming propensity for strange happenings in Greendale, I propose the following:

After slithering off of the table, the Raisin Mold made its way through the dining room and kitchen, then out to the attached garage. Windows broken by the newspaper delivery boy provided a means of egress and then it was loose in the wilds surrounding the bodaciously small town of Greendale.

It had only been alive for a few minutes but It Was FREE.

It was ready to find out what the world had to offer. It stayed in the shadows not wanting to subject is translucent flesh to the full strength of the Sun. Small insects would fly over to investigate it, drawn by the sweet smell of the raisins floating inside of its mass, only to be captured and absorbed by the creature's pseudopods, hastening its growth. Vegetable matter - plant fibers - proved to be indigestible.

As the mold grew larger and the raisins became more deeply submerged in its body, their scent became less potent and the mold would have to pluck wildberries or raid the produce section of the grocery store to acquire fresh bait. This led to an unfortunate encounter with a grocery store stocker.

The stocker tried to stop the Raisin Mold from absorbing the fruit into its body. Not intentionally, the person simply didn't recognize the clear ooze as a living creature and had tried to clean up what he thought was a spill. He was overwhelmed and digested, not just his body but his mind as well. Unexpectedly, the Mold gained a basic understanding of human speech and by forming hollows in its amorphous body could move air in such a way to approximate speaking. Whenever the Mold fed on a human, it would temporarily gain access to a portion of that person's memories and skills. It used these abilities in an attempt to observe and understand people.

Its observations led to questions and before long, conclusions. The bizarre behavior of the town's residents led the creature to believe that Humanity was a blight upon the world that must be expunged.

The Raisin Mold

The creature before you resembles a semi-clear amoeba with fruit floating inside of it.

(Only bigger and less artfully arranged)

Acid (Ex): The Raisin Mold secretes digestive acid that only dissolves flesh. Any melee hit or constrict attack deals acid damage.
Acquire Skill (Ex): The Raisin Mold temporarily acquires one skill known by a creature it consumes, chosen at the time of consumption. It gains the creatures ranks in that skill (but not racial or ability score bonuses to the skill modifier) up to the maximum rank allowed by its own HD. It retains use of the skill for up to 1 day/HD or until it eats another creature, whichever comes first.
Blindsight (Ex): Using non-visual senses, such as sensitivity to vibrations, acute hearing, or a highly developed sense of smell, a creature with blindsight Maneuvers and fights as well as a sighted creature. Invisibility, Darkness, and most kinds of concealment are irrelevant, although the creature must have line of effect to a creature or object to discern that creature or object. The creature does not usually need to make Spot or Listen checks to notice creatures within range of its blindsight ability.
Constrict (Ex): The Raisin Mold deals automatic slam and acid damage with a successful grapple check.
Improved Grab (Ex): To use this ability, the Raisin Mold must hit with its slam attack. It can then attempt to start a grapple as a free action without provoking an attack of opportunity. If it wins the grapple check, it establishes a hold and can constrict.
Daylight Vulnerability (Ex): Exposing the Raisin Mold to direct sunlight disorients it: It can take only a single move action or attack action and suffers 1d6 damage per round of exposure if it cannot escape.
Partial Ooze Traits (Ex): The Raisin Mold is blind (with immunity to gaze attacks, visual effects, illusions, and other attack forms that rely on sight); Immunity to poison, sleep effects, paralysis, polymorph, and stunning; Not subject to critical hits or flanking.

(So more like this but still bigger and fighting back).
