Curse of the Non-Transferrable Purse

Sometimes, real life provides the oddest sources of inspiration.  Without going into a lot of backstory, there is a purse, it keeps getting sold but for some reason, it keeps coming back, and the money earned through its sale always disappears.

This handsome women’s handbag is made from the hide of a white dragon and adorned with gold hardware (clasp, pontent, sangles, touret, etc).  As a whole, this handbag is worth 1,500 gp (roughly $38,500 in USD or a DC30 Wealth check in d20 Modern) in materials alone but once it is in your possession, you may not sell it.  Attempts to sell the bag result in potential buyers finding otherwise unnoticeable (and often imaginary) flaws.  If someone does buy it, they must make a daily Will save (DC15+1/previous check) or they will seek you out to return the purse and recover their money.  Under no circumstance will a buyer attempt to steal back their cash and they will always seek to return the item.

Additionally, the owner of the purse will continuously find themselves in need of money to pay off debts that have suddenly come due, even if those debts did not previously exist.

The Remove Curse spell has no effect on the purse (although Limited Wish, Miracle, and Wish all work normally).  Finding a way to rid oneself of the item could be an adventure in an of itself.
