Day Five of the Odinsleep (Are We Adventurers or a Debate Team?)
Day Five of the Odinsleep (5 am, 2 hours until sunrise)
With the arrival of Idunn and the Valkyrie Hildr, the rest of the group begins rising from their slumber. Drax awakens refreshed and ready for the day’s trials. He gathers his gear, checking all to ensure its readiness before whispering the words to two different spells – both meant to ward against the divinations of potential enemies, “غير كشف” which will turns aside scrying spells and “محاذاة غير قابلة للكشف” to conceal his allegiance to order, chaos, good, and evil.
Cedron takes a deep breath as his eyes fall upon the goddess and his heart soars, filled with vitality and smiles as he replies, “Mischief thrives on innocence and simplicity brought by common expectations. Odin is wise, and I believe we are here because we are neither innocent nor predictable. So perhaps we do not need to find Loki, but to act in a way so unpredictable, that his curiosity brings him to us. What we must determine is how to become irresistible to his curiosity. What do you appeals most to the Sly One, m’lady?”
Shadow, overhearing smiles, his eyes on the Valkyrie, “Yes, how may we tempt the Sly One? I am always interested in finding new ways to become irresistible.” Hildr rolls her eyes but brings one hand up to hide a smile before going back to pretending that the dark elf hadn’t spoken.
Raven frowns, “I cannot say that I relish the idea of Loki coming to us. When WE go somewhere, we are prepared for whatever we may find and are, arguably, at our most dangerous. I think we would be foolish to assume anything less of Loki.”
Cedron counters, “I think we would be foolhardy to assume Loki would not see us coming but I agree we must be prepared.”
Ra’ziir joins the group, listening to the exchange but says nothing yet, weighing the options before engaging in any debate.
“Alright, let’s go find this Loki character!” Kysek declares as he joins the group.
Grotto guffaws and offers breakfast to the new arrivals, “Not many can resist my cooking, maybe set up a spit and we’ll roast us a boar!” Niklas, after finishing his exercises, pauses for a moment, taking in the snowy beauty of the pre-dawn city before heading back inside for some of that breakfast the maimed dwarf mentioned.
The commotion causes Morn to stir from his slumber and he sits up, yawns, hears something about a “Sly One” and shakes his head, “We’re doing that now?” The bard staggers to his feet, still trying to shake the cobwebs from his sleep-deprived brain as Arthur also enters the common room.

Meanwhile, as Korbin and the dwarf speak outside of the shop across town, the crow tells him, “I would love to see what you have. Trade is my second, no third, favorite activity.”
The dwarf squints, “And what be the first two?”
