Creeks and Crawdads - Revisited
As we near the end of the year, I am sort of wrapping up things I have started or have been sitting on for a while. I originally did a post on Creeks and Crawdads a long time ago but while working on pun names (Shrim Possible, Shrim Kardashian, Shrimothy, Shrim Shady), I started thinking that maybe I could go back and refine crayfish stats.

• Amphibious (Ex): Crayfish can survive out of water for one hour per point of Constitution (arid conditions halve this time, humid locations and access to shade doubles it).
• Skills: Crayfish receive a +8 racial bonus to Swim checks to perform some special action or avoid a hazard. They can always take 10 on a Swim check even if distracted or endangered. They can use the Run action while swimming provided they move in a straight line. They receive a +2 racial bonus to hide in sandy or rocky areas due to their coloration. Intelligent (generously speaking) crayfish speak the human language that was most common in the region where they lived before the apocalypse.
