I was going through some old posts last night and struck upon an idea.

Birds Aren't Real + Lawyer Dog + Magic Pickle + Superhuman Registration Act = one crazy adventure seed

Hicksville - while patrolling the city, searching for signs of the Brotherhood of Evil Produce, Weapon Kosher comes across a glitching Pigeon-bot that is attacking a random citizen. The Magic Pickle intervenes but is arrested for not being registered with the 50-State Initiative.

Lawyer Dog is appointed as his defense attorney.

The adamantine blade split the breastplate as ifnit wasn't there. The flesh and bone beneath fared no better but the strike did not stop there. The Rift that Dreams Back

  Raven couldn't remember entering a rift. One moment, he was walking toward Tarithnesti. The next moment, he was here. A long corridor made of polished stone. Faint starlight provided scant illumination. The air smelled of rain that hadn't quite fallen yet. Ahead, a door hung in mid-air with no wall attached. The words, " EXIT (DO NOT USE FOR EXITING)" were carved into it. A voice behind him spoke. "You are not supposed to be conscious in this layer." Raven turned. No one was there. A small bureaucratic stamp appeared in mid-air and pressed against something unseen. The words "TEMPORARY EXISTENCE AUTHORIZED" appeared - floating in the air just like the door. A featureless, gray man-shaped figure dressed in some sort of guard uniform stepped out of the wall. He looked at Raven. Then at a clipboard. He sighed deeply. "Of course... a ranger." I have been holding on to this blog entry for awhile because I don't want to become the guy who posts characters from the Tick all of the time but I think it's time to share my latest interpretation of one of the greatest antagonists the Tick has ever faced. That said, Chairface, the Tick, and all associated characters are the property of Ben Edlund. Chairface Chippendale is a criminal mastermind. Altan, who stood the last watch with Granite, is stirring a pot whose savory aroma promises a simple but hearty breakfast. Granite has roused Phineas and the pair are packing up a small tent while Davaa prepares the camels for the day's march. As he passed Agnes, he paused just long enough to wrap the elf in a brief, warm hug.  "How was the night?" Agnes smiled faintly as she returned the embrace. "Peaceful." She glanced toward the brightening sky. "Too quiet though. I don't think I slept as well as I usually do." Arthur released her and reached for a nearby waterskin. 02 Deepkolt 349 AC It takes about an hour for the storm to completely die. Arthur and the others are on their way within half that time. As sand settles back to the ground around the wizards' tower, the party makes its way north. Loose and shifting dunes gradually become hard-baked rock and dirt. The group makes good time. Arthur leads the way on Nightrend, with Agnes, Granite, Davaa, and Altan following on camelback. Phineas moves smoothly along, his Across-the-Plains-inator, chugging away with a constant whir that sounds like a fly trapped inside a tent flap. Nightrend hates it, moving away several steps to the side every time Phineas gets close to it, which amuses Agnes every time it happens. The camels don't care. Granite announces that their little caravan should reach the Cactus Forest by nightfall. Arthur chuckles and pets Nightrend's neck. "How's everyone holding up?"
