I was going through some old posts last night and struck upon an idea.

Birds Aren't Real + Lawyer Dog + Magic Pickle + Superhuman Registration Act = one crazy adventure seed

Hicksville - while patrolling the city, searching for signs of the Brotherhood of Evil Produce, Weapon Kosher comes across a glitching Pigeon-bot that is attacking a random citizen. The Magic Pickle intervenes but is arrested for not being registered with the 50-State Initiative.

Lawyer Dog is appointed as his defense attorney.

House Rule - Ranged Devastating and Overwhelming Critical

While I was out driving for work today, I started thinking that Devastating Critical and Overwhelming Critical should have a ranged variation  available because a legendary archer or sniper should also be able to land a "perfectly placed shot" that would be instantly fatal. So, I am making the following change to the feats for my campaign . Devastating Critical  [Epic] (Epic Level Handbook, p. 53) Choose one type of melee or ranged weapon, such as longsword or heavy crossbow. With that weapon, you are capable of killing any creature with a single strike. EPISODE ONE: EAST OF OMAHA (THE CHOIR) Mac exclaimed, "Brothers...... the time is here to roll! Now!" The big zipper took a step, a second, a third as he pulled the machete from his pocket, grabbed it with two hands and hurled it towards Roger. Roger's eyes went wide. EPISODE ONE: EAST OF OMAHA (FINALE) For a moment, everyone froze. Dragula laughed, "Told you it would work." Mac called out to Sam, "Hey, GET UP." Mac leaned over to open the door for the little demon. Sam squinted at the cloud. "We didn't destroy it." DAY ONE (Day Three of the Odinsleep), 9:30 am Shadow launches himself into the air, racing to a height even with the face of the towering Jotun.   His rigid metallic fingers struggle to perform the precise motions required for the spell and the arcane power is slow to respond.   The dark elf shouts, “ Πυροσβεστική ” and points at the massive giant but the fireball fails to detonate. 07 Deepkolt 349 AC EN ROUTE TO TARITHNESTI Kysek, a look of thanks upon his face accepts the berries. “I know it’s not much girl but it should help you.” The elf holds the berries in his outstretched palm for her to eat. Dusk wolfs down the berries in a single gulp. Her bleeding slows and some of her strength returns. She is by no means healed but looks like she can rejoin the fight. Raven smiles faintly. "That's more like it." He faces Kysek, "I spoke with Ra'ziir. Tarithnesti is under attack." Raven tells him everything he received through their telepathic bond—the beacon charging atop the Protector's Tower, dragons converging on the city, and their companions fighting desperately to buy the crystal enough time.
