White Court Vampires for d20 - Revised

As mentioned in my notes on Earth-218, characters from the Dresden Files exist in my campaign although I suspect that they will do their own thing while my players do theirs. That said, it seemed like a good idea to at least rough out some of the races that the players could come into contact with. That said, I present my take on a d20 version of the Dresden Files White Court Vampires.

The White Court is a breed of humanoids that feed on the emotional energy of others. They prefer to employ pawns and political manipulation to open conflict but are deadly combatants if pressed. Despite their name, they are not undead.

Ability Boost (Su): The Vampire can expend stored life energy in times of need to make themselves stronger, faster, or more durable. By expending 1 point of stored energy, a White Court Vampire is capable of increasing their Strength or Dexterity by 2 or Fast Healing by 1 or their speed by 10' for one round and they may expend 1 point per level per round. They may distribute these increases amongst different abilities.
Fast Healing (Su): A White Court Vampire has Fast Healing but only while expending energy from their Life Pool.
Hunger (Su): The Hunger is a spiritual parasite that serves as the source of a White Court Vampire's abilities. It remains dormant until physical maturity and emerges in its first, usually fatal, feeding. In exchange for feeding this parasite, the vampire does not age, heals quickly from injuries, and is capable of amazing physical feats. The Hunger consumes 1 point of life energy per day. Failure to feed the Hunger turns the parasite against its host, meaning the Vampire suffers from the effects of its Life Drain ability.  Additionally, it is possible to kill their Hunger if its done at a certain point. To do so, they must feed off someone they love who loves them back, as long as it is their first feeding. This leaves the vampire as a normal human in all respects.
• Life Drain (Su): A White Court Vampire feeds on life energy. To do so, the vampire must make intimate contact with a victim (Humanoid or Monstrous Humanoid), most commonly through kissing or sex, although fear and despair are also possible food sources. Each feeding session drains 1 point of Wisdom from the target and adds to the vampire's pool of life energy (max of 10 × their level). The victim may attempt a Will save (DC10 + 1/2 the vampire's level + the vampire's Cha bonus). While feeding, the vampire's eyes turns silver, their skin turns white, and the temperature in a 10' radius drops by several degrees. This is a pleasurable experience (as Charm Person cast by the White Court Vampire) for most victims who will come back for more as long as they survive the encounters. The vampire can make a conscious decision to not feed as desired.
Vampire Weaknesses (Su): A White Court Vampire's ability to draw on their pool of life energy is drastically weakened if they enter a home without an invitation, reducing them to only expending a single point of energy per round. Additionally, physical contact with symbols of true love (wedding band, lock of hair, etc at the DM's discretion) deals 1d6 damage/round of contact. This extends to a person who who was last physically intimate with a person they love and are loved by in turn.
• White Court Vampires gain a +2 bonus to Dexterity and a +4 bonus to Charisma. They have a +2 Natural Armor bonus. They also gain a +2 racial bonus to Listen checks and Improved Initiative as a bonus feat. Their class with the highest level is the vampire's Favored Class for multiclass purposes. Nearly all White Court Vampires advance as Aristocrats or Rogues, although Bards, Fighters, and Monks are not uncommon. They speak Etruscan and the dominant language of the region where they were raised.  Their Challenge Rating is equal to their character level +2.
