Bio: Nothing is known about this drifter before he arrived in the town of San Miguel. There are rumors that he had been a ranch hand who shot an older hand who turned out to be a wanted criminal. After collecting the reward, he left the ranch to become a bounty hunter.

* I was going to score this ability closer to average until I was reminded of the scene where he killed an enemy with a thrown machete.
** After reviewing several videos, the Man with No Name has a kill count of 35-37 for the trilogy (16-ish in Fistful of Dollars, 12 or so in a Few Dollars More, and about 9 in The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly) over the course of a dozen fights. Some went by real fast on screen and there may have been some overlap in the clips I watched, hence the estimate.

Lorraine's House of Healing   10 Hiddumont 348 AC (1351 DR) Ra’ziir accepts the potion and tucks it into the folds of his robes “Very generous of you…” he offers before shifting then conversation back to Ladonna and the Order. “I am curious how the three Orders interact, and what, if anything specific motivates them. What can you tell me of the Order I’ve chosen and its leader that I did not learn at Wayreth?” The muscular, dark-haired elf replies, "Were I to come into conflict with a wizard from I rival Order out in the world, be we competing for some lost relic in a ruin or on opposite sides during a war, we would most likely try to kill each other. But on neutral ground, such as the Tower at Wayerth, I could find myself in a lively and perhaps productive debate. That same mage and I would likely at least be on good terms, if not friends. As for Ladonna, there are rumors that she and Par-Salian are on rather more intimate terms than their positions may otherwise suggest....

BeyBlades for D&D

Turns out that my kids are into the whole “ Beyblade ” thing and the only thing the youngest one asked for this year for Christmas was a “Winning Valkyrie” Beyblade.   Aside from knowing that the game is basically a modernized version of battling tops and that there is a cartoon to promote the toy, I knew absolutely nothing about Beyblades up until this weekend. As I watched the boys play with their new “Beys”, I found myself fascinated by their game and the way they talked about different types of strategies and customized builds for their tops.   I gave some thought to a “BeyBlog” that would focus on different combinations of parts, the results of mini-tournaments, product reviews, and maybe a breakdown of individual episodes of the show (although how they managed to wring enough drama out of top-spinning to produce three seasons of the show with over 50 episodes per season confounds me entirely). Accidentally Funny

Humor is not that unusual in gaming sessions.   When it happens on accident however, it can create long-lasting memories. Once upon a time, I ran a solo adventure for a dwarf named Happy Jack.   Happy was a psychic and an inventor of sorts.   From the pressurized wooden keg full of alchemist’s fire worn on his back with the spray nozzle and sparker to his own brand of beer, Happy Jack was an innovator.   His player always made sure to take good notes of his adventures so he could review what had happened and plan Happy’s next move. For the adventure, I adapted the AD&D 2 nd ed module “Wizard’s Challenge”.   I placed my telling of this tale in Eveningstar in northern Cormyr.   The village, a favorite retreat of King Azoun’s was ruled over by Tessaril Winter.   She was known for mentoring mages of all talents and was a magnet for hopeful apprentices.
