Balifor Bay - Slithe the Sorcerer

Shadow continues to float unseen above the battlefield.
With all of the enemies on the right flank defeated, Raven pivots and charges the golden Draconian. The creature seems him coming, its expression one of disdain even though the elf has already dispatched two of its minions in short order.
Disdain turns to surprise as Nightwatcher's adamantite blade slices easily through protective enchantments. The creature staggers back, blood pouring from a deep gash across the chest.
Romulus calls out, "Mohjvpoph cumv!" A bolt of lightning erupts from his outstretched hand to obliterate Ra'ziir's second foe.
With only one enemy remaining, Ra’zii's nimble fingers dance through a quick spell. Five pulsing darts of magical force missiles pound his axe-wielding dragonman in the chest, sending him flying backwards. As he hits the ground, he too, is petrified.
Ornforithalas moves to flank with Arthur, his spear held high. He jabs with the weapon and smashes with his shield. His strikes are true but fail to penetrate the draconic sorcerer's protective enchantments
Grotto holds out his hand, waiting for his ace to return. It wriggles inside the stone body of its last target but does not fly free. "Hey you oversized handbag, why don't you pick on someone your own size!" Grotto quips as he taunts the reptilian mage.
"Damn axe got stuck at the worst time!" curses Grotto. Grotto pulls his great axe and readies himself.
Kysek silently moves it to flank the leader, still cloaked in his ring's invisibility. The golden sorcerer turns his head, watching the unseen thief out of the corner of his eye but with Raven and Ornforithalas already assailing him, is unable to defend on a third front as the Knight of the Barrie Grange strikes with both of his blades. The dragon-man's magic slows the attacks but his defenses crumble and warm, reptilian blood sprays from his wounds, drenching Kysek’s arms. The monster staggers back, smoke pouring from its injuries. It gives the rogue one last look before its body detonates in a powerful explosion.
As the first blast dies away, the corpse is launched skyward, landing some twenty feet away where it explodes again. The second blast injuries several scouts and sends its body flying again, this time back towards Kysek, Raven, and the guard captain. A third explosion rocks the clearing, then a fourth, and finally a fifth before what is left of the body falls unmoving to the ground and finally lies still.
