Ghoul General - the White Kingdom
Note: This adventure was based on "The Kingdom of Ghouls" from Dungeon Magazine 70. Instead of fighting to defeat the ghouls, the player, who had himself been transformed into a member of the undead, was tasked with bringing the area under his control.

Jamaros stood atop a balcony overlooking Kilenor. The stench of rotting flesh hung heavy in the air as he surveyed his newly conquered domain. He allowed his thoughts to drift back over the last few days and the victories he had achieved. After forcing his way into the Ashen outpost, the mighty Nordheimer sacked the stronghold, seizing control of the Marquis' forces. With his defeated rival's troops added to his own, he marched on the Coastal Outpost. Rather than resisting, Marquis Zun capitulated and allowed his guards to be absorbed into Jamaros' army.
The newly expanded army then captured the Great Tombs and the Eastern Outpost. The Jotunbrund marched to the Blood-Drinker's Hall where the he allied with a pair of vampires who had established a lair within. The vampire, Res Hundeval, told Jamaros about a banshee and undead Beholder lurking in the Ghostwood. Jamaros managed to convince the banshee to attack the deep gnome city of Glimmerfell.
They began by damming the Laetam River, causing the city to flood. With the waters rising, the Ghoul army and banshee sacked the city in short order. Nearly two dozen deep gnomes were captured and devoured by the ghouls.
With most of the caverns under his control, Jamaros marched on the ruins of Angrimm. Two deep dragons living in the ruins pledged neutrality rather than face the Ghoul army. The wyrms allowed the undead to pass and the undead barbarian soon found himself standing on the shore of the Sunless Sea. A ship was moored at the small pier and Jamaros boarded the vessel.
The figurehead came to life and fought Jamaros but the massive warriors was able to dispatch the demon and take control of the vessel. By this point, Jamaros and his troops had gained control of the entire cave network with the exception of a cloaker settlement, the City of Echoes, which had long been allied with the ghouls.
The barbarian returned to Kilenor and claimed leadership over the Ghoul city. Troops were dispatched to guard the exits leading to the surface while Jamaros consolidated his mastery over his domain in the name of Doresain.
